Beginning in 2008, the HOMEPIVOT Investment Team of Scott Miles, Grant Alvernaz and Dan Alexander hit the housing recession head on, acquiring distressed single-family homes, renovating them back to life, and reselling back into the market for a profit.  Now 17 years and over 1,000 “flips” later, the team continues to make strides in the distressed single family residential rehab business, growing their portfolio and geographic reach year after year. 

In addition to this continuing core business model, the team has built dozens of speculative homes throughout the Bay Area, capitalizing on inexpensive improved lots in affluent locations. 

With their triangulated expertise in different areas of residential real estate and construction, the team has also designed, entitled, and subdivided raw land for development, and sold these projects off to both regional and national homebuilders for vertical construction.
